The SciFi Channel wants to change their name to the Syfy Channel.
Says so here and on AICN.
On the one hand, this is the most idiotic thing I've heard in quite some time.
On the other hand, the SciFi channel airs one science fiction program in a hundred, so maybe this is truth in advertising?
They should just change their name to the "Waste of Time Channel" and move on.
