Pacific Gas & Enema

By now I think most people know about that little bit of trouble that went off in San Bruno.

So it seems that PG&E  must be concerned about scenarios like this.  They're asking for permission from the Public Utilities Commission (California's rubber-stamp for PG&E "oversight") to bill PG&E customers for disasters caused by PG&E that exceed their insurance.

Yeah, thanks PG&E.  You guys can't keep a handle on your responsibilities and you want to be able to use your position as a monopoly to screw over most of California.  Nice.
