Reflections on a long Saturday

Attended a funeral/memorial service that took up pretty much the daylight hours of my Saturday today. A few random thoughts:

• One can be the most epic of fuckups in life and still have a fascinating, and one might say - positive - impact on other lives.
• Every memorial service should have alcohol, even if it's just snuck in using a flask.
• It really is how you tell the story.
• I have previously unmet family who are into "Doctor Who" as much as I am, or perhaps more.
