"Haunting, cerebral, and gorgeous"
These are the words attributed to Time for a description of Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse".
That's what it says on the cover of the DVD set, anyway.
If "Dollhouse" is Time's definition of "cerebral", then the U.S. is in worse trouble than I thought.
It's most-certainly gorgeous. It has some haunting parts. In some cases, it's haunting in a good way. In some cases, it haunts you 'cause it's that bad.
Cerebral? There are moments when the show is thought-provoking.
I think "Friends" could claim the same... maybe.
That provided me with a good chuckle for a few minutes today.
