Disappointment

Steven Erikson was up towards the top of my list of authors.

Then I got "Toll the Hounds".

It's not a bad novel. Just to be clear.

It's just not knocking my socks off.

When compared with his past works, this is sluggish, bloated, and just... not exciting.

*sigh*

And I still have a few hundred pages to go.
